As we strive to meet changing times, the Board has decided to distribute an abbreviated form of our bi-monthly newsletter when there really isn't enough "news" to warrant a full-blown issue. The result is something I'm calling the Short Form. Whenever there is not sufficient content to justify publishing the Inland C's, we will send out this emailed Short Form with the "must know" information you need until the next Inland C's is published...Rod Schmidt, Editor
To date, the majority of members have responded to the renewal reminders affirmatively. If you are one of those folks who have forgotten to renew yet, be assured, we hope you will choose to continue your membership.
Even though our vessels have not been inundated with snow so far this season, it will be a couple of month before we can take off the covers and begin our annual Spring re-commissioning. You can take a break from that (hopefully) pleasant task and get together with your Catalina Family friends on Saturday, April 21st. when LMCA members, Jon & Mary Bontekoe will be the featured speakers at Spring Thing 2012. Join us at the Spring Lake Holiday Inn for dinner and then join the Bontekoes as they relive the riverboat cruise they took in France this past fall. Complete information will be printed in the April issue of the Inland C's. In the meantime, mark the date on your calendar.
The annual Summer Rendezvous of the Lake Michigan Catalina Association will be held the weekend of July 13th-15th at the Macatawa Bay Yacht Club in Holland, MI. Mark the date on your calendar and join us for a great time.
